I am ....................... I am 22 years old of age and a fresh graduate from Thammasart University with a bachelor degree from the faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication. My major study was in radio and television field. At the moment, I am taking the extra course, English for Airline Personnel, to enhance my language proficiency and communication skills. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a candidate for the position of cabin crew.
Like many other girls, I have always dreamed of becoming a cabin crew since I was a kid. When I had a chance to travel abroad for the very first time to join the “Work and Travel” program, the beautiful cabin crew on that flight gave me such an unforgettable memory. She was very friendly and smiley at all time. The way that she welcomed me, talked with me and took care of me had impressed me so much that I wished I can be like her. And that truly inspired me to apply for this job. I wanted to impress the customers the same way that she impressed me. I have learnt from this experience that the cabin crew's role does not impact only the customer's flying experience but it can also motivate someone 's life. Thus, I told myself that if I can be a cabin crew, I will give my best in order to ensure that all my customers will disembark with a lasting impressive memory. Therefore, I have both dream and determination to become not only a cabin crew but a good, caring one.
Regarding to my personality, I am a good, devoted team player and I enjoy working in multicultural team because I find it is more challenging and interesting. When I was in university, I was a head of swimming community. This allowed me to meet with other athletes from different nationalities such as Chinese and Singaporean. Also, I was a liaison taking care of the foreign swimmers when they visited Thailand. I enjoyed showing them my country and hosting them with the best hospitality from our swimming community. Also, I am a hard yet flexible worker. When I was attending the “Work and Travel” program in U.S.A., I was in the food service department. During the busy summer time, we might have up to 1000 customers. So I had to work almost 15 hours a day because they were short of man power and I had to help my colleagues to finish up the team’s tasks. Many times I was rotated to work in different positions from dining room, preparation room to dish room. It might sound hectic but it was a very fun working experience to me. And I felt proud every time that the busy day ended successfully.
The reason that I want to work with EVA Airways is that I would like to be a part of the best cabin crew team which is ranked Top 10 International Airlines by Travel plus Leisure Readers Vote and Annual survey. Moreover, I personally admire and have the bond with Taiwanese culture since Thailand and Taiwan have established a good relationship for over 100 years. Last but not least, EVA Airways fly to all important and famous destinations around the world. I will be absolutely honored to join this progressing team and fulfill my dream of becoming a good attentive cabin crew.
