In translation teaching, translation materials play an important role. In traditional translation teaching, translation sources were most written language, such as books, newspapers, magazines and so on. Those old and single literary teaching materials are responsible for their inefficient translation teaching. Most of teachers and students today dissatisfied towards those translation materials. For teaching materials, they are mainly literary articles or classically political works, but seldom involve practical materials that reflect newly developed social, cultural, economic, and scientific realities of the modern world. The reasons why teachers and students are not satisfied with the materials can be concluded into followings: contents of the materials are too out of date to arouse interest; the examples are not practical; and the material types are too limited.
