Primary colors are sets of colors that can be combined to be a useful range of colors.
Generally, the primary colors used in the additive color system are red, green, and
blue called RGB color model. The additive primaries are widely used in televisions,
computers, and video displays. Fig.1.3 shows the additive mixing of RGB color
space. The mixing of red and green produces shades of yellow, orange, or brown.
The mixing of green and blue produces shades of cyan. The mixing of red and blue
produces shades of purple and magenta. Finally, the mixing with equal proportions
of the additive primaries will produce shade of gray or white.
