Actual quantum yield of PSII (Y(II)) in the samples was measuredusing Yield protocol which is a light adapted (no dark-adaptationis required) steady-state test of photosynthesis measuring theratio of light amount used in photochemistry in PSII to the lightamount adsorbed by chlorophylls of PSII. Leaf samples were testedunder steady-state photosynthetic conditions therefore this pro-tocol shows the achieved efficiency of PSII under this lightingcondition. Steady-state fluorescence (Fs), and maximum fluores-cence (Fms) of light-adapted leaves were measured and actualquantum yield of PSII (Y(II) = (Fms− Fs)/Fms)) and estimated rela-tive electron transport rate (ETR) were calculated by the softwareof the Fluorometer.
