G-6-PD activity of male neonates with no detectable gene mutation is significantly higher than those of females with no mutation or who are heterozygotes (p-value = 0.0175 and 0.0013, respectively).
Among G-6-PD-deficient neonates, G-6-PD activities of male hemizygotes and female homozygotes are not significantly different, but only G-6-PD activity of male hemizygotes is significantly lower than that of female heterozygotes (p-value = 0.006).
Although G-6-PD activity of female homozygotes tended to be lower than that of female heterozygotes
