Large companies could help smaller firms with market access and distribution channels, possibly in coordination with the One Tambon One Product scheme.

The private sector will be urged to set aside more funding for research and development (R&D) to strengthen the country's competitiveness and foster innovation, he said.
The government has set an ambitious plan to increase the country's R&D spending to 1% of GDP next year from 0.37% this year.
