Guide : This building was built in the reign of king Rama lll, who was very fond of Chinese art and architectural styles.

Guide : The most important of all is a Buddha image called Phra Nak, which is Buddha image cast in an alloy of gold and copper. The image was brought from Ayutthaya.
Tourist : what's the building over there next to the spired hall?
Guide : That is Hor Phara Nak or the Royal Mausoleum. The building was named after the phra Nak image which was once kept here, but is now enshrined in the spired hall or Vihan Yot. Now Hor Phra Nak is used for keeping the ashes of female members of the royal family. These ashes are contained in hundreds of small urns.
