The results of the present study indicated that sugarcane
bagasse was rich in phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and phenolic
acid compounds, which showed significant antibacterial activities
against the foodborne pathogens S. aureus, L. monocytogenes,
E. coli, and S. typhimurium.
