The initial total plate counts and mold & yeast counts for wheat
and corn seeds were in the range of 103e104 CFU/g. After hot airassisted
RF treatment at 60 C for 10 min, both total plate counts
and mold & yeast counts had no obviously reduction, while for hot
air-assisted RF treatment at 65 C for 10 min, about one log
reduction for both total plate counts and mold & yeast counts were
obtained for wheat and corn seeds (Table 5).
