Good morning the head of Foreign Language Department, teachers and students
It’s a great pleasure that the Foreign Language Department is holding a Christmas event today. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give an opening address.
Christmas is a very important religious event for people in the world. Christmas Day is on the twenty-fifth of December. Most Thai people are Buddhists, but some Thais believe in a variety of religions, Buddhism, Christian and Islam. Every religion teaches us how to behave well and be a good person for a good society. Students should understand its doctrines or teachings deeply so that the world will live in peace and happiness.
I hope all of you here will join this special event. Try to benefit from the valuable knowledge and a great fun provided by the Foreign Language Department.
At this auspicious moment, may I declare Christmas Day open and wish all of you here success and prosperity.
Thank you very much.
