For the convenience of a questionnaire survey and easy adaptation of the survey results to the tourism sustainability assessment maps (TSAMs), in particular the AMOEBA of tourism sustainability indicators (ATSI), the 1–100 scale of Prescott-Allen is transferred to 1–10-point scale. The adoption of this approach for tourism sustainability assessment may be justified by the following five arguments.
