Perform Sales and Marketing activities following Sales and Marketing plans, guidelines, policies and short-term strategies.
"Collect, compile, verify, and analyze all of Sales and Marketing related activities, such as financial, competitive, sales, marketing, and other information about potential business partners; new markets, products and services; or other business opportunities so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions. Prepare documents and materials (for example, reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners so that the information provided is accurate and appropriate for external distribution.
In addition they may assist in identifying business opportunities and evaluating opportunities in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, alliances, and business deals. The Senior level role also works to develop solid, long-term professional relationships with customers, prospects and industry leaders. May coach and provide instruction to lower-level Sales and Marketing professionals."
