The purposes of this research were to study the English writing ability of students
through construction ism course designed as well as to compare English abilities the students
before and after being taught through deconstructionism course designed. The target group was the
1st year bachelor degree majoring in software engineering at College of Arts, Media and
technology, Chiang Mai University. There were 2 research phases: 1st phase in summer semester
2008, and 2nd phase in summer semester 2009.
