The Tools page contains a list of the Tools included in the framework. It serves as a
welcome screen, providing a brief description of each Tool, and direct access for starting
the Tools. To do so, you can click on a Tool’s icon. You will then be asked whether you want
to start the Tool in Framework mode or in Stand-alone mode (see section 2.1). In brief,
Framework mode allows for organizing your data in projects (see below) and improves
your workflow — choose Framework mode if you intend to use the framework regularly.
Starting a Tool in Framework mode automatically creates a new ToolFolder (see 2.3.1) in
the current project. If you have not opened a project yet, you can choose to create a new
project, or to open an existing one. The latter option takes you to the Projects page, which
will be described next.
