Air Travel and other credit cards may be accepted as payment for passenger tickets and related travel services subject to the details in the following pages. The acceptance of credit cards is governed: - by individual contracts between the Airlines and the credit card companies and - by contracts between the Airlines and the Universal Air Travel Plan (TP). Therefore different rules may apply for different airlines. In some countries the acceptance of credit cards is not allowed due to monetary or exchange control restrictions or restricted to the acceptance of locally valid credit cards. In these cases the local government instructions apply. No credit card issued in the name of an agent or in the name of his officers or employees shall be used in connection with the sale of air transportation to any customer.
