You will be taught by leading international researchers and award-winning creative writers in a location steeped in literary history. Our programmes – English and American Literature, Creative Writing, Contemporary Literature and Postcolonial Literature – cover all periods from Chaucer to the Contemporary and at every step of the way students choose their own pathway through the subject. All our undergraduate degrees are available with a year abroad or a year in industry and our postgraduate programmes are taught at centres in Paris and London as well as in Canterbury.
