This was the most expensive hotel stay we've ever had, and also by far the best. We felt that the staff really wanted to get to know us, not because some corporate training manual said to get to know guests, but because this hotel has figured out how to hire and retain employees that truly enjoy meeting new people. Only two complaints - first, we initially had problems with pre-arrival concierge being unresponsive and not following through (this was clear when we arrived and some scheduled activities had not actually been scheduled). But the reaction of management was something I've never seen before. A whole team went out of their way to make things right and not make a big deal of it. Second complaint - very small - the chi chi in the bar was awful so don't order that. Back to the positives: our kids really enjoyed the beach, the pool, the ocean, the rooms' private plunge pool. My seven year old son says the hotel is "relaxing". The spa is amazing, the hotel set us up with an awesome day charter. Food was super, room perfect. I could go on and on. Can't wait to go back.
