It is essential that all employees know the current status of the migration; what is happening today, tomorrow, next week, and next month. Holding frequent meetings is always and option, but l have found that an all-staff e-mail once a week is better. Highlight what’s important, what was accomplished, what the road blocks ahead are, and a detailed timeline. Though the timeline may change with each e-mail, it is important that one exists, and that it be communicated, updated, and followed. Communication between and within the working groups, as well as with administration, is also important.
