with a constant speed 1Omls, and the total length of the
moving route is 4,000 meters.
In Fig. 6, it is illustrated that four handoffs take place
according to the fuzzy logic based VHDA. The detailed
values are presented in TABLE II. When the MN is inside
WLAN 1 or WLAN 2, the outputs are more than 6.5 and the
MN chooses to handoff to WLAN. This is because the
network conditions of WLAN are relatively good and the
monetary cost of WLAN is more attractive. When the MN is
leaving the WLANs, the outputs sharply decrease and the
MN executes handoffs to the TD-SCDMA network.
