In this study an inverter fed induction motor and its drive is designed, analyzed and tested for different operation
conditions. The simulations are verified with the test results for the V/f control of the motor. In the tests and simulation
V/f ratio is kept
The results are coherent for different frequency levels and the minor discrepancy around the pull out region between simulation and test results can be explained.
These discrepancies are minimum at 50 Hz and maximum at 10 Hz.
The power electronic switches are assumed to be ideal so their internal losses are neglected. Similarly the parasitic
other effects are neglected. Finally the inductance values for the rotor are determined for 50 Hz and used as the same
value for all the simulations. However these inductance values will be changing for other frequency levels.
