1. This is a closed book examination.
2. There are TWO parts: short answer questions and multiple choice questions.
The marks are shown in the bracket at the end of each question.
3. The time allowed is 2 hours.
4. Total marks: 75 marks (30%)
a. Part 1 - short answer questions (11 questions for 55 marks)
b. Part 2 - multiple-choice questions (20 questions for 20 marks)
5. The use of mobile phones, dictionaries and calculators is not allowed.
6. Answer all questions in the examination paper with blue or black ink pen.
7. Any form of misconduct or cheating will result in an “E” in the whole course as well as possible disciplinary action. Student who needs to leave the examination temporarily must obtain permission from the invigilator before leaving the examination room.
