Material recovery from consumer goods is hardly existing, as end-of-life products are not yet available and their recycling is technically and economically challenging [21]. In this paper three major recycling pathways that currently most researches are focused on, including manufacturing waste recy- cling, end-of-life or used module material recycling, remanu- facturing and reuse, are investigated. In the following part of this section, proven technologies for each pathway are carefully reviewed. Their advantages and disadvantages are described, and then an overview of feasibility of PV module recycling from both technological and economic perspectives is presented.
