In managing house hold matters, cooking and serving food
and washing clothes, spouse was more commonly reported
by urban respondents whereas son/daughter-in-law was more
common in the rural area. Likewise, almost equal proportions
of the respondents in both study areas were able to maintain
their personal hygiene, to walk inside home without assistance
and capable to dress themselves. The assistance from
daughter/son-in-law was very little.
