Follow up to last meeting’s minutes:
Meen
1. Regarding the mistake that the printing press made (Vacharin). The owner of the press came to speak to K. Ravi to apologize. K. Ravi agreed not to penalize them but asked them to be more careful with their work.
a. They will double check all of their work and Meen will also do the same.
b. Meen is now checking the first page of every file that they send back to us.
2. Cities vs Airports topic
a. It has been decided that the names and codes of the cities will be listed on the top of the flight schedules (instead of codes of airports).
b. In the flight schedules, Meen will list flights that go to all airports in each city, and will add a code after the schedule. At the bottom of the page she will mention the code and the name of the airport.
3. Press Releases
a. Meen has sent letters out to 104 country managers requesting press releases. She is giving Karn the list and phone numbers. Karn will call and get all their email addresses. Meen will then send out emails to all of them and call to follow up.
4. Directory Section
a. Meen has removed fax and website info from the hotels section. Now there is a lot of empty space. She has a list of 848 hotels that she will sync this list with the ones already included in the hotel section.
Rin
1. Visits to top clients
a. Will visit AOT this Fri and 5 more next week.
2. Decided that Rin will be in charge of advertising for TAT, while Meen will be in charge of Editorial and Phim will be in charge of Subscriptions.
a. Will invite Percy/Ankita to join meetings with airlines to get to know Country Managers and offer them interviews along with a marketing package.
3. She will brainstorm with Meen, Phim, Ankita on how to increase ad sales and will come to see Sid on Monday to discuss strategy.
Phim
1. Subscription Renewal Form
a. Has been sent to 137 people via mail, fax, and email (most).
b. Has called about 40 people to follow up.
c. 3 people have renewed.
d. Many customers who Phim has spoken to refused to renew and have been very upset with Phim. Most of the complaints are that they pay for subscriptions and do not receive the issues.
e. She will prepare a report of all complaints with membership numbers, contact info. P’ Rin will arrange a meeting with K. Ravi, K. Arthit, and Phim to discuss this problem. We will ask K. Arthit to help us find a solution.
2. Auto Renewals
a. She is contacting subscribers 3 months, 2 months, 1 month in advance to get them to renew.
3. White Board
a. P’ Rin will get a white board and put it up for Phim to update daily new subscribers, renewals, and revenue.
b. Sid will then set targets and create incentives on how to achieve targets.
