2.1) Moist Evergreen (ป่าดิบชื้น)
It is also known as Tropical Evergreen. For large tracts this type of forest only exists south of Ranong in Thailand although some small pockets do exist in Central Thailand. Typically, this forest can be called "rainforest". It’s a product of a short dry season and high yearly rainfall of over 2 meters (Wildlife Thailand, 2011). Canopy layers are very evident and little light reaches the forest floor.
