This menu item is used to clear all or part of the PC memory. The memory sections to be cleared should be checked, and then the OK button clicked. This will clear only the section checked. Sections not checked will not be cleared. The following sections may be selected for clearing:
Parameters - If this section is checked, the parameters will be cleared. This has the effect of setting the parameters back to their default state. Note that if any file registers have been allocated, this will delete them.
Ladder / SFC - This will clear all the ladder and SFC programs. It will also clear any assembler function blocks that have been loaded into the program.
Data Registers - This setting, if checked, will cause all the data registers to be cleared. All the bit registers will be set to off, and all the data registers will be set to 0. In an online window only the M, L, S, CV, and D registers will be cleared.
File Registers - This will cause all the file registers (if any present) to be set to 0.
If the program window is an online window, commands to clear the particular areas will be sent down to the PC attached. If the window is an offline window, the relevant internal program or data areas attached to the window will be cleared.
