4. Conclusion
In the present study, water stress significantly decreased the grain yield of sunflower (Alester cultivar) but the application of mycorrhiza, increased the grain yield and oil content significantly compared to the control treatment. Water stress decreased the potassium content of seeds but by increasing water stress from control upto W2 treatment, the content of nitrogen and phosphorus increased. In between two species of mycorrhiza, G. etanicatum had the highest effect in increasing grain yield and nutrient content of sunflower.
