The primary purpose of this case study was to develop a model that reflected the process followed by the Program Directions Advisory Committee (PDAC) as it created recommendations for a new curriculum direction and identified a curriculum design methodology for agraduate faculty of in formation studies ( the Faculty). Through a critical analysis o f a curriculum design project, Isoughtto identify the actions taken , the resources used, and the products created in order to find a solution to a stated curriculum problem. The design process model could then be used in subsequent curriculum development projects at the Faculty.
