In contrast, the concentration of vitamin B3 was observed to be as high as ca. 28mgkg−1 and it seemed to be strongly dependent on the botanical origin of the samples. The quantification of vitamins B5, B2 and B9 was successful only in ca. 50% of the samples analyzed: while vitamin B5 can reach concentrations of some tens of mgkg−1 in honeys of selected botanical origin (i.e. asphodel honey), the concentrations of vitamins B2 and B9 are always below 10mgkg−1.
