Rice is the main agricultural product of Thailand. Each year, it can be helpful for gaining income to Thai farmers; also it’s an important export product of the country. Generally, the moisture of rice content was about 19 to 28% (w.b.) after the harvest from the field [1] and normally the moisture content of paddy should be reduced to around 13 to 15% (w.b.) [2]. Farmers always used natural sunlight to reduce moisture. But this method was usually having a problem with rain, insects and dust. Recently, most farmers were interest on renewable energy technology used to solve these problems. Solar energy is the energy of nature is unlimited and not creates toxic pollution to the environment. Thailand is country that has been an average sunshine available year-round. Using solar drying technology could be applicable and significantly is suitable. However, Thailand's rainy season, often problem of drying paddy. So this is also season is a huge obstacle for rice drying. The researcher led the gasification as an alternative to thermal renewable solar energy. To proceed drying, therefore, this research was to study the performance of paddy greenhouse solar dryer operate with hybrid gasification technology.
