In addition, Tenderers are required to outline their plans to maintain the external and internal appearance of the rolling stock, and how they will liaise with rolling stock maintainer to successfully deliver a level of service that is consistent with the levels specified in the service quality standards. Tenderers will be expected to describe their strategy for monitoring train cleanliness and interior repair, specifying plans for planned and reactive maintenance, and in the case of the latter, setting standards for the reaction times.
