A comparison among the HPLC chromatogram of the mobile
phase (TFA 0.025% w/v), a spiked cranberry sample and the cranberry
sample without spiking gave the selectivity. It was clear that
the vitamin B12 peak did not interfere with other substances. Under
the chromatographic conditions of this experiment, the retention
time of the vitamin B12 was tR = 9.80 min
