The qualitative data analysis was conducted with data obtained from the observations
and semi-structured interviews. The researcher analyzed and interpreted the data using
content analysis. The purpose of the observations was to examine how EFL teachers used
CLT in their classroom instruction. Meanwhile, the semi-structured interview was used to
clarify the participants’ opinions towards the use of CLT in their classes. All data related to
the participants were kept confidential until the data analysis process was completed. Once
the data analysis was done, documents were destroyed.
