YES, I live in Los Angeles area. It can get to 100+ F or 40+ C but, the humidity never gets above 80% The heat comes from the land, santa ana winds.
I have been to Miami and Orlando Florida in the summer and again it gets up there again the humidity is 80-90% i guess. I was there a short period. The heat from the sun and Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic
In Bangkok particularly, at the top of the gulf of Siam, water all around from the river to the Ocean.
Now Bangkok is 13 degrees No of the equator
Miami is 25 degrees No
Los Angeles is 34 degrees No
Because the Bangkok is so close to the Equator, its just hotter there. The humidity just makes it that much hotter and when its not overcast which can happen during the summer. WOWIE!!
I have been there in July and it was so hot and humid that a few times while walking outside, the humidity had saturated the air to the point I could not take a breath.
