This method of standardization is applied to EP, HP and PLOC. For
PUS, when the attributes cannot be compared with each other,
the nominal reclassification approach is used. By means of reclassification, each
cell of the raster receives an integer value
according to the evaluation
ofthedecisionmakers(DM)inrelationtotheobjectiveoftheanalysis.
The data fromthe raster maps are divided into k classes of benefits, and
then a score is assigned to each class. The usual values are on a scale
from 1 to 9, from 1 to 10, or also from 0 to 1. This makes it possible to
perform arithmetic operations on rasters that originally held dissimilar
types of values.
