The reported sol–gel procedure [24,26] was applied in our
work. Briefly, the sol solution was prepared by mixing 15 mg
MMPNSs or MMCNSs, 400 mL methyltrimethoxysilane (used as
precursor), 50 mL distilled water and 50 mg poly(methylhydrosi-
loxane) (used as deactivation reagent), and then agitated
thoroughly by sonication for 30 min. Subsequently, 50 mL TFA
was added into the mixed solution as acid catalyst and the solution
was sonicated for 10 min. The prepared solution was used for the
coating procedure.
