workshop. Most of these items will be a review of the
expectations/deliverables discussed during the first workshop.
1. Usage of GRPI in one example with your team. Be prepared to
discuss what you did and the results.
2. Understand the operating mechanisms for your business, and usage of
one operating mechanism in your work. Be prepared to discuss what you did
and the results.
3. Complete your project & bring results to the workshop (what you
did, who was involved, & the results)
4. Bring the 9-Cell matrix which has each of your direct reports
listed.
5. Bring all of the development plans for your direct reports to the
workshop.

Pre-Work Item 1: 360° Degree Feedback Instructions
An important part of this process is investing in your own development as a leader. If you are going to improve the performance of your team and develop the next generation of leaders, it is important to develop yourself.
A common trait of top performers—whether in business, government, athletics, or other endeavors—is that they constantly benchmark their own performance and look for ways of improving. 360° feedback is the way to do this. In preparation for the workshop, you will receive feedback from four of your subordinates, two of your peers, and your direct manager. In the program, you will review the feedback and then create a plan to improve.
Following are the instructions for gathering data:
1. Select four subordinates, two peers, and your direct manager who will fill out one feedback form, each.
2. Write your name where it says, “Feedback for ____________” on each form.
3. Send one feedback form to each person.
4. Include one copy of the instructional cover letter with each form.
5. Have the forms returned to you or your assistant on an anonymous basis in sealed envelopes. Do not open the envelopes before the workshop.
Please bring your pre-work and feedback forms with you to the workshop.
