We booked the corner executive suite. Unfortunately, we set our expectations far too high. There are hotels all over Bangkok that will give you the value of this suite at a third of the price. Views were nice, but the room itself felt like an old, cluttered apartment. Staff were pleasant but certainly did not go out of their way to please us. After seeing the room, we asked if a balcony room was available. They promptly said 'no', not mentioning that most such rooms are in their Krung Thep wing. So we inquired again if a balcony room was available, but got the feeling that we were bothering the staff so much so that we settled for what we had. Breakfast was very good and the housekeeping staff superb. But needless to say, there is just so much better value in Bangkok for these prices.
