any misinformation is not good around such a sensitive subject. The BBC, the Aussie news and others should know this.
Under reporting the visitor numbers is insulting. Like only a few thousand show up. Everyone that has been here longer that a week knows there 66 million pairs of eyes that have not been dry and just the picture of Pin Klao bridge alone shows just a glimpse of how many people are coming to pay their respect. I am not a fan of banning stuff, but its the news agencies own choice to put under educated reporters on such a sensitive story. Shame on the BBC... They used to be a good news outlet now simply crap.
False reporting is also hurting the country like booze bans, "everything is shut", "there is chaos"... Until now it has been completely respectful and may I compliment the government in the way they have communicated to us bar owners and also leave space for tourists to enjoy their holiday and for our staff to make their income...
May all Thai people find peace in their grief and find support among each other. One Thailand, One Thai people!
