Most of the injured suffered bruises, but three women passengers complained of back and neck pains. All of them, including Kajornsak Puangprakone, 43, the bus driver, were sent to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.
Mr Kajornsak told police it was raining hard and visibility was poor. At one point he braked to slow down and lost control of the bus when it spun off the road and overturned. He said he moved quickly to take control and lead the tourists out of the overturned vehicle through a broken window and then called police for help.
