After five years of auditions. With only a handful of acting jobs to show for it, Dan decided to look for work on the other side of the camera. Starting as a junior researcher in Breakfast AM for DPS Entertainment, he secured a job as one of show’s associate producers just three years later, and became its executive producer soon after that.
Gibson spent his 30s moving around the major TV networks, helping to produce several successful series, including Yours Truly and On Campus (and a couple of unsuccessful ones too!). He finally settled at USC universal where he was offered the role of President of its Television Group.
