Quality Engineer
Department: Engineering
Key Accountabilities:
Publish and maintain company quality, airworthiness and safety policies & standards to ensure regulatory compliance
Plan, implement and oversee quality and surveillance audit programme to monitor compliance with regulatory and company requirements
Perform surveillance and audits related to aircraft operations, contracted organisations at main base and line stations to ensure regulatory standards and company requirements are maintained
Perform timely reviews and ensure proper dissemination of airworthiness data including the evaluation of Airworthiness Directives issued
Oversee matters pertaining to the grant and renewal of aircraft certificates and licences for new and existing aircraft
Management and implementation of an approved aircraft maintenance programme
Ensure proper aircraft technical records system is maintained
Administer training and qualifications review of contracted organisation’s qualified certifying personnel
Maintain regular communications between the Thai DCA and act as liaision with other regulatory authorities, internal stake holders and contracted organisations on airworthiness matters
Qualifications:-
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Aeronautical or related field
4 to 5 years of working experience in Quality Assurance in commercial aviation
Completion of an approved B777/Trent 800 Type Course would be advantageous
Good understanding of regulatory requirements for airworthiness
Possesses good working experience in Quality auditing principles
Familiar with commercial aircraft systems, maintenance activities and its operations
IT proficient with good knowledge in Microsoft Office
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Willing to travel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both oral and written Thai and English
