Reporting to Intrax
Within 3 days of your arrival to the U.S. you must complete your check-in with Intrax. A successful check-in will activate your SEVIS (Student Exchange Visitor Information System) account and allow you to properly apply for your Social Security Number.
Check-In
To check-in with Intrax you can complete the online questionnaire in your MyIntrax account. (Shown to the right.) Remember to include a room, cabin or apartment number in the US Address line 2. If you have any difficulty with the online form please call 1.888.224.0450 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) to complete your check-in over the phone.
An important part of the program is keeping Intrax up-to-date. As such, you will need to complete a Monthly Contact with Intrax and update us with any changes in your housing address or job position. This can be completed in your MyIntrax account or over the phone.
Housing Address
A key part of your Check-In and Monthly Contacts, is listing your current accommodation or housing address. If you have not yet arrived to your host company, you must give your current address, even if it is temporary. American addresses have standard format. An example can be found below:
