We here assume that the standard error is the square-root of the count number in each histogram bin. For the double Gaussian fit we have 43.45 in v2, where the number of the degrees of freedom is 34. On the other hand, for the single Gaussian fit we have 233.97, which indicates the double Gaussian function is a much better fit. According to the result, we also note that even though the error is mostly due to the Poisson statistics the error may also include some contributions from errors in finding the COL when the fluctuation is large with respect to COL particularly during the sunspot is rare.
