Fed-batch fermentation in a 3-L bioreactor was first car-
ried out, showing the data a lmax of 164 001 with a

(Table 1). The strain started to accumulate biopolymer
after 15 h of fermentation, and it stayed constant until it
was ended. The maximal polymer content reached
2970 028% (w/w) of CDM from glucose as a carbon
source. This first fermentation lasted 18 h and the CDM
