CReSS—Cloud Resolving Storm Simulator
The CReSS is a non-hydrostatic model which allows to resolve
cloud structures with the purpose to simulate meteorologic phenomena
ranging from cloud- to meso-scale size (Tsuboki and Sakakibara,
2002). Since this model is expected to deliver accurate information
about the spatial and temporal distributions of wet refractivity fields
during extreme weather situations it is expected that ray-traced
delays based on CReSS help to improve positioning estimates of space
