Violetrose, someone may have answered your question, already. I'm catching up on the thread, after watching episode 12, with English subtitles. There isn't a fully translated version of the letter, that I know of. I just used Google, Microsoft, and a few other online translation sites. I copied and pasted the letter, using the different translation software, and between the different translations, had an understanding of what some of the letter says.
A particular favorite of tonight's episode, DH's answer to Secretary Park's question of "where had he taken BY on "dates" before?": "The playground, a snack bar, my car." Had me rolling in the floor!
Personally, I think BY would like a handmade present from DH, rather than a store-bought one. A mistake, but a sweet, and not cheap one. Lol! Anyway, they are too precious together. :-) I think the story-function of BY's medical crisis, is to make the family realize that none of them has forever to live, and BY, even less time, so they should allow her to be happy, and be with DH. Also, I was thinking how DH has barely even hugged BY, I think he's still afraid to. He might think he's afraid, because he wants to be a gentleman, and do everything right, in the relationship, because acceptance by the family *is* important to BY's happiness, but I think he's really afraid, because he had lost his wife. I just think there's still a little fear, there, and that medical crisis might be as much to set a fire under DH's feet, as it is the family's.
Judging from DW's look, her body may be rejecting the heart, or, after five years, it's done all it can do, after being transplanted. Maybe it's played itself out. If BY needs another heart transplant, and gets it, and survives, then no one can doubt that she loves DH because she has his wife's heart. That'll kill any lingering questions about cellular memory. (I don't know about heart transplants, but my cousin had three kidney transplants. Third one has been a blessing so far. He's had a tough road).
Oh yeah, I LOVE DH's mom. My kinda gal, she's a good woman, and I think she fell in love with BY almost instantly. Forbidding DW & BY's marriage may have really been as much about not wanting to lose BY, because she cares for her, as it was to keep from hurt visiting the family, again.
