Further to recent communications from Angela Lang, it is now time to begin the sample gathering phase of the project and this email contains guidance on the best way of doing this. Your support last year was a major contributor to the success of this project, and we really do appreciate it.
With interviewing due to start in September, we need to receive signed off and approved sample lists from each participating territory no later than Friday 12 August 2016. We trust that this provides you with sufficient time to pull your list together and to get sign off from your territory lead or the relevant client team / partner. Last year we provided territories with the opportunity to choose their preferred methodology i.e. online survey, telephone survey or mixed mode, for the majority of territories we are proposing to keep the methodology the same as last year. However if you would like to change this, please let us know at your earliest convenience as this will enable us to plan ahead for the fieldwork period.
From past experience, the most effective approach for sample development is for local territories to provide their sample, based on locally maintained client/target lists and their knowledge of the local market. We've found that this is likely to provide the most up-to-date, comprehensive and accurate source of information. We will also give the Industry teams an opportunity to review near-final sample in case they'd like to add anything.
Additionally, this year we would ask you to include the relevant GRP/Client Account team information where available, in order to help with the Global launch activities (column 'W' in your sample assistant template).
