The semi automatic vent cutter is a pistol designed forcutting and extracting vents from poultry carcasses. Itcan be equipped with one blade with a diameter of22, 25, 31 or 36 mm. Pressing the release button in thehandle activates the vent cutter by causing rotation ofthe blade and supplying vacuum to the collector. Afterinserting the mandrel and blade centrally into the vent,it is cut and sucked into the cutter (by means of negativepressure) which allows for extraction from the carcass,along with a fragment of the intestine. Releasing thebutton stops the blade and cuts off vacuum. Thensubsequent pressing of the water valve lever supplieswater into the collector, which pushes the extracted ventand removes impurities from the blade and the centralmandrel.
