he Leaning Tower of Pisa is a belltower of the cathedral in the italian city of Pisa. The tower is located behind the cathedral and there are 7 bells tuned to a musical scale inside.
The tower is about 56 meters (185 ft) tall and visitors have to climb 294 steps to reach its highest (7th) floor.
What makes this tower so special is the fact that since its construction it has leaned at an angle of 5.5 degrees. After restoration in the last decade of 20th century this angle decreased and nowadays the tower leans at an angle of 4 degrees. After this restoration the tower lost the title of the most leaning tower in the world, but it is still the most famous of all leaning towers.
